Ok guys so I have to talk about something really important today because it’s something we ALLLLL lack (besides time) and that is energy. Now in my entire life I’ve maybe met a handful of people who were just Tony Robbins bouncing off the wall at all hours of the day with nothing more then 3 hours sleep energy balls. I envied them, but I realized that isn’t and will never be me because well…that’s just not my personality. BUT…I have used myself as a human guinea pig over the years and have tried pretty much everything and anything to really solidify my energy game. I made it a priority.
Why you ask?
Well because if I don’t have energy I can’t be the type of mom I want to be, or wife, or business owner. I don’t want to be that irritable cranky “don’t talk to me” 24/7 type of person.
And trust me when I say, I have totally been that person. I still am sometimes when it’s that time of the month but I have finally found a rhythm and some tricks that have just made my energy 10x better.
There was a time where I was drinking 3 cups of coffee a day, and still literally dragging myself through the day where finally I would fall on the couch and veg out in front of the T.V. for like 3-4 hours per night. I was a yeller, I was irritated and I just didn’t feel good about anything that I was putting out into the universe.
Now I wake up earlier than my alarm, I’m alert I do my morning ritual I’m happy and ready to get the girls. I haven’t had coffee in months, I’m buzzing around getting shit done all day long and I just feel better. And nope, there’s no exercise involved though to be clear…that really helps too!
Alright let’s get it started:
So these tried and true tips have dramatically changed my energy level. I mean seriously it’s night and day. To think how long I was dragging myself along throughout everyday is kind of a bummer. But I am so glad I made a change for the better and am feeling better then ever and am a few pounds away now from my pre-baby weight. It’s all win/win/win.
As a stay at home, homeschooling, entrepreneur and wife…my time is so valuable to me. And my energy has to be in top shape to show up in the ways I want to for each area. Let me know what tips you guys have I would love to hear them and try them out!
